He starts playing the guitar at 18, learning everything on his own.
In 1990, he joined his first "real" hard rock band, Burning Eyes, with the famous Tony Marcos on drums.
After the band split, he joined the rockers of Paradise, which was originally founded by Philippe Lajat (Overnheit). He only stayed with them a few months, due to conflicting musical aspirations.
A few years later, he played with Styl, a band of Portuguese pop music. He toured with them for five years, allowing him to experiment with another musical universe, and opening for very popular Portuguese and Brazilian singers, such as Tony Carreira, Luis Filipe Reis, Jose Malhoa, Roberto Leal...
After Styl, he went back to the roots with Overdrive, a cover band specialized in 80's rock hits. But an ever-growing need to express himself through his own musical creations finally pushed him to leave the band three years later, after having toured extensively through the city of Toulouse (France).
He continued to write, without a band... until he met Serge and Alex and founded with them the MSA Project.
